The Manitoba Habitat Conservancy was formed in 1986, focusing on private-land conservation programming in Manitoba. Since that time, MHC has permanently protected more than 200,000 acres of habitat in southern Manitoba.
Its programs focus on the protection of habitat for the benefit of all wildlife species, with emphasis on species at risk and waterfowl.
MHC has staff working throughout the southern Manitoba, with its head office in Winnipeg and field operations based out of Brandon. View Our Locations.
