WILDLIFE ENHANCEMENT INITIATIVES
Project Name: Land Stewardship through Grazing Management Improvements
Project Description: This project will enhance habitat on two Community Pastures by establishing a prescribed burning program, restoring over 300 acres grassland in these areas. Brush encroachment is taking away valuable habitat for Elk, Moose and White tailed deer that inhabit the pastures. These areas are well used by hunters (grouse, big game, etc). As the program gets established more acres will be restored.
